The constraint
Vendor expenses arrive as a shoebox of receipts and a spreadsheet filled in weeks later. The client cannot see what a project is costing until long after they could have done anything about it.
What we built
Vendors point a camera at a receipt and the merchant, amount, date and category are read from it — front and back camera, no typing. Flights, taxis, hotels, fuel and meals are logged per project with routes for every trip. The client gets a live dashboard of spend by category, month and project, approves and marks expenses reimbursed, and can export to Excel. Each project stays private to the people on it.
